A Major Milestone: 100 Orgs Incubated

The/Nudge Centre for Social Innovation crossed a major milestone of supporting and graduating 100+ organizations. We hosted a StartUp 20X event to celebrate the journey of the organizations and the 180+ social entrepreneurs behind these organizations. Here are are a few highlights of our alumni accomplishments: 2 MIT Solve finalists, 2 world economic forum awardees, 5 Women Transforming India NITI Aayog awardees, 1 Time Magazine cover, 3 Dalai Lama fellows, 17 Forbes 30u30, 4 Business World 40u40, 11 Mulago Fellows, 8 Ashoka Fellows, 9 Acumen Fellows, 3 DRK Fellows, 5 Echoing green fellows. 2 Chevening scholars, 2 Gratitude Network Fellows, and 8 hundredED awardees.

The event included an insightful panel discussion on Fostering Ecosystems in Social Entrepreneurship. It was followed by a Keynote given by Sandeep Farias, founder and managing partner at Elevar Equity, who brought forward the entrepreneurial spirit and talked about the need for risk taking capital. For the entrepreneurs he talked about the importance of building credibility in the absence of capital, setting strong foundations before scaling up, and the history of social enterprises on which all of us are further building on.
