Applications open for the next cohorts of The/Nudge Incubator and The/Nudge Accelerator!

The/Nudge Centre for Social Innovation is a catalyst for the non-profit sector, nudging capable and committed problem solvers to work on some of the toughest problems faced by India’s poor. We incubate and accelerate high potential non-profit startups, working on India’s most critical livelihoods challenges.

We are looking for founders working on disruptive models that enable resilient livelihoods. While the incubator program looks for early stage non-profits in the pilot to grow phase, the accelerator focuses on founders looking to accelerate scale and impact.

Our focus

Who do we look for?

The startup should be working on solving a problem faced by India’s economically disadvantaged communities or a problem faced by the non-profit ecosystem. The solution being worked on provides resilient livelihoods for the poorest of the poor or acts as a change transmitter. Specific eligibility requirements for the programs is as below:

What do we offer?

Innovation Grant: We offer an innovation grant of ₹15 lakhs for the incubator and ₹50 lacs in the first year and up to ₹150 lakhs in the second year for the accelerator.
Dedicated Mentoring : 1:1 hands on mentoring by The/Nudge CSI partners . Additionally, we provide horizontal mentoring for the CXO team in the accelerator.
Sector Connect : Connect with an exceptional peer group, and a network that is interested in your idea and eager to help you to grow.

Eligibility

Incubator

Early-stage startup (0-3 years) working towards a Minimum Viable Product.
Registered as a section 8 company, a trust or a society.
Your solution provides resilient livelihoods for the poorest of the poor or acts as a change transmitter providing financial, marketing or technology agency to the underserved for resilient livelihoods.
At least one founder is working on the idea full time.

Accelerator

Early-stage startup (1-5 years) with a well defined program.
Registered as a section 8 company, a trust or a society.
Your solution provides resilient livelihoods for the poorest of the poor or acts as a change transmitter providing financial, marketing or technology agency to the underserved for resilient livelihoods.
Core team across functions in place.
You have raised money from other sources.
